1. Cancellation Policy

Gatemed offers a 7 AM cancellation policy. This means no matter what time you place your order. You can cancel it anytime before the clock struck next 7 am or 6:59:59am, and you will get a full refund of your order, no 5% charges. (NO QUESTIONS ASKED). After 7 AM, we will not accept any cancellation without valid and proper reason.

In some cases, Order cancellation may attract 3-5% bank charges depending on the payment methods used by the customer. It is because most payment gateway providers collect their Commission even though the order is cancelled and refunded. Due to the nature of the products we are selling and our strict quality control policy, we cannot offer order cancellation and return/replacement without a valid reason. Gatemed quality control team reserves the right to take the final decision on all refund and replacement requests.

  • Paytm Gateway (-3%)
  • Pay Using International Debit Card. (-5%)

2. Return or Replacement

We guarantee accurate descriptions and high-quality Products, as mentioned on our website. We also check the item under the camera before packing it for shipping. Then also, to protect customers/users from shipping damage, item mismatch or parts missing, etc., we provide five days (From the date of order delivery) to report the complaint and raise a ticket by going to our support portal. After you submit a ticket, our technical team will visually verify the submitted details and issue an RMA number to return the material. Once we received the Product, our quality control experts will verify the issue reported and send the customer’s replacement items. (Please carefully read our Return/Replacement guidelines mentioned below). The reverse shipping cost will be on us. If we do not have the Product in stock to provide a replacement, we will issue a 100% refund.
Furthermore, no warranty will apply if the Product has been subject to misuse, static discharge, neglect, accident, modification, or has been soldered or altered in any way. Due to the nature of the products we are selling and our strict quality policy, we cannot offer order cancellation and return without a valid reason. iT-Electronics Components quality experts reserve the right to take the final decision on all refund request.

2.1 Return/Replacement Guidelines
  • Once we confirmed the faulty item could not be repairable by the customer or by our engineering team via remote desktop (Chrome Remote Desktop), we will issue the RMA Number for return/replacement.
  • You have to pack the item/product as it was. You can also use a suitable sized box or a package.
  • We will provide you with the shipping label pdf. You have to take a printout of the label, paste it on the shipment, seal the box securely, and hand it to the pick-up boy.
  • Do not write anything on the merchandise packaging/shipping label  (Product package).
  • In case of a return, we will refund your amount once we receive the damaged item and verified by our quality control team (it can take up to 6-8 days).
  • Suppose our quality control team found any tampered with soldering or burned circuit on the ICs/board/any part of the item/product or physically damaged item and it is not fit for return/replacement. In that case, we will ship it back the product to the buyer.

We will replace the defective (only manufacturing defects accepted) unused merchandise within 2-4 days of receipt. We accept no responsibility for the inappropriate installation/connections of our products. Users must properly observe electrical polarity in hooking up electrical components.

3. Modification of an Order

We can do order modification up to certain limits. You can ask us to change specific details on your order, like updating the shipping/billing address or modifying the contact details or payment method. We can modify up to some specific information depending on order status as per the guidelines given below.

3.1 Modification Guidelines

Status wise modification limits are given below.

  • Items add/remove modification can be modified only for orders in status “Pending” or “On-Hold”. If your order has already moved to a different status, you won’t be able to modify the items in it or cancel them.
  • For order status “Processing“, we can ONLY modify the billing/shipping address and contact details.
  • If your order status moved to “Compleated“, then it will be impossible for us to modify any part of your order as it is already shipped.


Only one return or replacement request can requested per order. That’s why we request you to please reverify all the items in a single order then request a refund or replacement. Second time no return or replacement request can will be accepted for the same order.

For Replacement: Once the replacement item is delivered to you it will not comes under our 5 days return & replacement policy. Instead of 5 days it will comes under our 3 days replacement policy, the policy rules will be same as previous only timing will be change from 5 to 3 in case of replaced items.

For Return: In case of return  it can take upto 8-9 days for payment gateway providers to refund the amount.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Gatemed’s Address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
